Dardanelles Bridge Will be Built between Kilitbahir and Sarıçay
The project of bridge which is planned to build between Kilitbahir (European side) and Sarıçay (Asian side) on Dardanelles, caused a hesitation among the population of Çanakkale. Some of the people who respond to the place of the bridge asserted that this bridge would disrupt the natural texture. Some of them mentioned that this bridge would bring financial growth to Çanakkale. While the distance between the coasts would be 1,400 m long, the total length of the bridge would be 2,196 m. The cost of bridge would be 5 billion dollars. Bridge has 6 lines totally in both directions and there would be 3 tunnels on its access road.
