It is argued that the fossile which was found by villagers at the seaside in Kumburun Village of Ezine Town, was the Troy Monster in Troy Mythology. Asst. Prof. Dr. Rüstem Aslan who is the lecturer in Archeological Department of Ç.O.M.Ü. Said: "We reached impressive results on the researches with Reyhan Körpe. We can say that this area which is 4-5 km far from Troy Ancient City, is influenced from Troy culture. The researches show to us that Beşik Cove was the Harbour of Troy. This fossile looks like the depiction of Troy Monster of Herakles which is found 6th Century BC." "We believe that this fossile was Troy Monster." "We know from the issues of Calvert that there are more fossiles on İntepe coasts. This situation shows to us that the fossiles and Hommer's mythology was engaged. We believe that this fossile was the Troy Monster which was depicted exciting on an antigue vase in mythology."
