Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park Archaeological Research Project Begins
Australian Ambassador Peter Doyle and Canakkale Consul of Australia Andrew Koç McDonald visited COMU Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdemir. Australian Ambassador Peter Doyle stated that they planned to start the field research related to the Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park Archaeological Research Project in February of 2010. Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Akdemir thanked them for their contribution of this important project. Another international project of the University named as the World Congress of Universities was discussed in the visiting. Canakkale Consul of Australia Andrew Koç McDonald was invited to be a member of coordination committee of World Universities Congress. Canakkale Consul of Australia Andrew Koç McDonald said that he accepted to take a part in this important project.
