Gallipoli Spirit Will Be Presented In The Friendly Handball Tournament
The peresentation of "Gallipoli Triple Nations Tournament" with the participation of Turkey, Australia and New Zealand Handball Federation was held in Ankara. The Countries who conflicted in Gallipoli now will compete on Handball for friendship. Handball Federation President of Turkey Tarık Cengiz, Australian Ambassador of Turkey Peter Doyle and Charge D'affaires of New Zealand Llevellyn Robert joined the meeting held in Crowne Plaza Hotel because of the tournament. Tarık Cengiz said "Our object with this tournament is to commemorate our ancestors who fought 95 years ago and to make this tournamets traditional." Llevellyn Robert said "The relationship started with the war and then turned to friandship." Peter Doyle said "our coach of Australian Handball National Team said to me that they waited this tournament. Turkey has a good condition rather than us and we are ready to meet with New Zealand Team."
