Çanakkale Governor Güngör Azim Tuna, said that Geriatric Support Center will be established to activate health tourism in Çanakkale. We met for development of health tourism with Chairman, Association of Cellular Therapy Prof. Dr.Osman İlhan, specialist of internal diseases and hematology. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Ozcan, hematology specialist Prof. Dr. Zafer Gülbaş, Rector of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Prof. Dr. Sedat Laçiner, Dean of Medical Faculty Prof. Dr .Hüseyin Özdemir, Head Physician of Medical Faculty Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Coşar and Lieutenant Governor Canan Hançer Baştürk. We would like to establish a geriatric support center to an area that contribute to health tourism. I don't want to explain the place of it. This area will contain scientific application aimed treatment based on the multi-faceted assessments. This area will ensure the protection of people's health in the later years of their lives. Psychiatrist and psychologists, nutritionists, medical specialists, allied health personnel, physical therapy and rehabilitation teams, volunteers will be in this center. Also "regenerative medicine application clinic" will be in this area. It is planned to establish the biggest GMP cell labratory of Turkey. Our city will be a health base. Çanakkale will be the center of health tourism." |
