Grand Kepez Harbour Of Canakkale Will Be Opened In August 2005
The chief of Kepez Muniplicity of Canakkale, Ismail Yasar OGUZCAN, told that, The grand harbour in the Kepez village of Canakkale would be ready to serve for any type of ships and cruises on August 2005. It is told that the foundation of the harbour was laid in 1995 and completed in 1999. The work of upper infrastructure was put out to tender, and the contracter company 'Kolin Group' laid the foundation of the upper infrastructure in May,2004. The approximate cost of the harbour reached about 35 bilion Ytl. It is expected a great value to the income of the Canakkale with the new grand harbour.
