Historical Mansion was built by İbrahim and Halim Brothers in Şehit Kanibey Sokağı Biga in 1900. Mayor of Biga Mehmet Özkan said: “The building was socialized by The Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1998 to be second degree historical artifacts. Mansion couldn't be converted to a museum because of insufficient funds before. Mansion was conveyed to Municipality in 2008 and than converted to City Museum. We anounced the citizens to bring historical things to our museum, because we couldn't find enough materials for exhibiting. Than the interior design was become today. We still need historical materials for exhibiting in our museum and waiting for offers of our society. I would already thanks to everyone who donated to our museum.”
