Kepez Harbour Will Stimulate The Tourısm Potential Of Canakkale
It is announced that with the openning of Kepez Harbour which was first started to be built in 1995, would stimulate the tourism potential of Canakkale Tourism. President of Canakkale Trade and Industry Chamber, Ilhami TEZCAN, told that the current form of the Kepez Harbour hasn't been planned for loading of the container ships, and added that if the current conditions of the harbour is developed for the container ships, it would sure boost the traffic of the Kepez Harbour. Mr TEZCAN told that when the Canakkale - Can road is completed, Canakkale Seramik Company would sure use the Kepez Harbour but as stated before Mr TEZCAN stressed the importance of the conditions of the harbour which should be developed for the container ships as well. Mr TEZCAN added that Kepez Harbour which has costed about 35.000.000 YTL, would certainly improve the tourism potential of Canakkale particularly in terms of International Touristical Cruises.
