| Diving to the Dardanelles as a part of New Year Celebrations in Canakkale, which is also becoming a traditon, was held with the contribution of the Colonel Murat HATIP and the world record holder swimmers of Canakkale. Huge interest was attracted to the diving to dardanelles in the new year celebrations of Canakkale. The activity was first started with the leadership of Colonel Murat HATIP, and , Republic Attorney General, Bursa, Ahmet ER in the sea side of Canakkale last year. This year, due to health problems of Republic Attorney Geeneral, Bursa, Ahmet ER, he couldnt dive but attended the celebrations of the diving team. In the celebrations of the new year 2006, diving to the dardanelles was performed with the coıntribution of Colonel Murat HATIP, world record holder swimmers, Devrim Cenk Ulusoy, Sertan Aydın ve Derya Can, and the Diving national Team Director, Mehmet GUNAYDIN. Several local people and tourists watched the show while entering the new year, 2006. The diving has started in the midnight, 00.00 with the fireworks. Republic Attorney General, Bursa, Ahmet ER, told that he was sorry not to dive in the celebrations of 2006 due to his health problems but he would ceratainly dive in the celebrations of the year 2007 if anything wrong does not happen. |
