Panaromic Museum for Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park
Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Günay said: “We will build a panaromic museum telling the Gallipoli Campaign and Sea Victory of Çanakkale. We are planning to build this museum around Eceabat and Kilitbahir.” Minister came to Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park to make research with Mayor of İstanbul Metropolitan Kadir Topbaş. Minister said: ”1453 Panaroma Museum opened in İstanbul Topkapı with the effort of Mayor Kadir Topbaş last year. We are think about to make a museum as that one located in İstanbul. Our Prime Minister is also following this Project. We have to make an investigate on the area. There are some alternatives around Eceabat and Kilitbahir. This Museum has a view that the ships pass The Dardanelles could see it. This museum will exhibit Çanakkale defence and Sea Victory on thousands of metersquares area. We would like to build this museum before 18 March 2011 ceremonies.”
