Canakkale Provincial Director of Youth Sports Doğan Anşin began to organize “Peace Olimpiad “ for the 100 anniversary of Gallipoli Campaign. Doğan Anşin said: “Childrens of those countries who fought many years ago, now living in peace. We thought to organize a peace olimpiad with participation of athleths of those contries. We intend to organize this project as Universiad 2011. Total investment in Erzurum was around 1 billion TL for that. There is great development in the cities who organized youth sports as Trabzon. Our subject in this issue is to organize a competition at sea and on land in 10 branches with athleths of 11 countries on the 100 anniversary of Gallipoli Campaign in 2015. We also published a manual for this.”
