RDismantling process of replica of Nusrat Minelayer in Naval Museum Command completed. Old replica was exhibited since 1982. Naval Command built a new replica in Gölcük Shipyard Command last year. Dismantling process of old replica was completed and garden regulations were continued. New replica would have 40 meters lenght, 6 meters width and 180 tons weight. Replica would be connected in the port for visitors. Also replica will follow the route of wartime and will remind the visitors that period. Nusrat Minelayer played an important role in Canakkale Naval Victory in 1915. İt removed from inventory in 1955 and sold in 1962. It sank in Port of Mersin in 1990 because of neglect. Tarsus Municipality restored it and exhibited in 2002.
