Interest on meat of animals which were grew in organic conditions, pleased the producers. Organic meat Project started with 8 villages. Then was enlarged by the president of Organic Red Meet Producers Association Vural Keskin. Vural Keskin said: “The animals who complete one year sertification period were cut in establishment of Ayvacık Municipality and were sent to Ecological Market in İstanbul in hygenic conditions in 22nd of April 2010. These meats were attracted the consumer and investors to Ayvacık.” İmportant guests began to come in Ayvacık because of this interest. Last week quality and marketing managers of Migros Tansaş and Makro markets group came to Ayvacık. Vural Keskin said: ”Çırağan Palace Kempinski Hotel General Manager Henri Blin and his committee came to our town and took some information about this project previous day. Then committee went to Erecek village and made an observation on terrain and life of animals. Committee was influenced by the natural thyme on the terrain.” Blin and his committee then visited Mayor of Ayvacık M. Ünal Şahin.
