The Hıstorical Rumeli Shelters Has Been Restorated
The restoration work of the Rumeli Mecidiye Shelters which are located in the Kilitbahir village of Eceabat, has stated. The shelters was originally built during the sultan Abdulhamit. The governor of Eceabat district, Muhterem Ince told that the restoration work of the historical shelters would cost 1.691.000 TL. and expected to be completed by the end of 2009. After the restoration 8 arsenals and 7 gun fires would be ready for visiting. It is also told that the envoirement of the Rumeli Mecidiye Shelter would also be reorgonised.
