Tourism Attack Of Chamber Of Trade And Industry Of Çanakkale
Chairman of Chamber of Trade and Industry of Çanakkale (ÇTSO) Bülend Engin and member of the board of Chamber of Trade and Industry of Çanakkale Mert Mildon held a press conference about the projects and missions of the chamber. Chairman of ÇTSO Bülend Engin said: "Marina project is project of Çanakkale and increasing of the number of tourists coming by the sea is needed. There are 130 thousand tourists accomodate in Çanakkale and this is only 0.5 percentage on general Turkey. 7 million tourists gone to İstanbul in 2008 and 2 million of them gone by sea. 2 million tourists pass Dardanelles every year. Nearly none of them visit this city. Then we discussed whether we built a marina or not. Half of these 2 million tourists have to visit Çanakkale. Then the economy of our artisan and city will improve. At that time Çanakkale will become a city of tourism. We should focus on marina project in this context. Chairman of ÇTSO Bülend Engin and member of the board of ÇTSO Mert Mildon gave some informations about ÇTSO projects as; To close the above of the Çarşı Street, to begin the built of trade center of chamber and the arrival of Bora Jet against Anadolu Jet.
