| Visit Record To Canakkale Region In The First 10 Months |

| It is announced that in the first 10 months of the year 2005, 687.709 tourists have visited Canakkale. Canakkale Culture and Tourism Director, Ismail KANSIZ, told that they are proud to announce that the amount of the visitors coming to Canakkale is increasing each day. Mr KANSIZ added that they are expecting to reach 700.000 visitors by the end of 2005. Compared to recent year, Mr KANSIZ stated the number of national and international visitors coming to Canakkale in the year 2004 as 546.785. Among the 687.709 visitors in the first 10 months of the year 2005, German, British, Australian, New Zealand, French and Japaniese tourists are told to be the top visitors coming to Canakkale. Mr KANSIZ told that Canakkale has a very special place both in the world and national history, therefore it is inevitable to see the rise of the Canakkale Tourism. Mr KANSIZ told that they would continue to promote Canakkale in the International Tourism Fairs in order to sustain and increase the high interets to Canakkale |
